Expanding our interprovincial connection

Pacific Coastal Airlines announces new destination

Just days short of the one-year anniversary of non-stop service between YLW and the Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC) in Cranbrook, Pacific Coastal Airlines announces a new destination on the YLW route map.

Beginning Jan. 12, 2015, Pacific Coastal Airlines will offer new service six days a week to Trail BC. The new flight to the Trail Regional Airport (YZZ) will be similar to the current Cranbrook service that was launched Nov. 18, 2013.

The 19-seat B1900 aircraft will leave YLW at 1 p.m. and arrive in Trail (YZZ) at 1:40 p.m. The aircraft will leave YZZ at 2:15 p.m. and arrive in YLW at 2:55 p.m.

“Adding another link within the province is great business news for both the West Kootenay and the Thompson Okanagan regions,” says Chair of the Airport Advisory Committee, City of Kelowna Mayor Walter Gray. “With the FortisBC connection in Trail and our medical services in Kelowna this is a great route expansion. We are pleased Pacific Coastal Airlines has confidence in both our markets to expand its wings to our two regions.”
